The great traditions set by the Holiday Dental Conference for the last 20 years will continue in 2009 but in a modified form because of the economic uncertainties that everyone may continue to face this year. The Board of Directors has chosen to move the Holiday Dental Conference back to downtown Charlotte – this time at the newly refurbished Blake Hotel (formerly Adam’s Mark). The 2009 Holiday Dental Conference will also be a condensed 2-day version on Friday and Saturday featuring The Dawson Academy faculty. There will also be a few other faculty members

The Holiday Dental Conference is a regional continuing education forum held annually in the late fall.The conference sponsor is the Holiday Dental Conference Foundation (a North Carolina non-profit corporation) through it’s Holiday Dental Conference Committee. The objectives of the Holiday Dental Conference are:
To provide and promote a quality continuing education experience for all members of the dental team.
To promote an atmosphere that strengthens the dental fraternity through a gathering of academic, private practice, leadership and public health disciplines under one forum.
To support dental education, research and development.
To provide leadership within the dental community.
To provide a format that is conducive to various dental organizations meeting concurrently within a master framework while maintaining their individual identity.
